After completing his B.Bus.Sci at UCT Richard moved to the UK to pursue a career in investment banking. Three years, and many trips, later his love of Cape Town and the deep blue sea got the better of him, and he returned to South Africa. A little while later Nox Rentals was born. Now Richard spends most of his time building the business, but when not hard at work, you'll find him on his surfski, a kiteboard, wakeboard or down by the beach!

Nick Taylor

Nick was previously part of the team as Finance Manager for two and a half years and has taken on the role of MD in January 2010. His 10 years of experience within Hospitality and Finance, coupled with relevant qualifications has given him the right tools to be at the core of the business. After 5 years in London, Nick is happy to be home in Cape Town, and in his spare time he enjoys the odd round of golf and is an avid Sharks supporter!

Amanda Vadas

Operations and Financial Manager

Amanda joined Nox Tourism in June 2005. She is a creative, energetic, people person! She has grown through the ranks at Nox, initially joining on a short-term contract before finding more permanent work as an animator! She is an integral and important part of the team running the show and handling all of the accounts and financial aspects of the company. Outside of the office she is passionate about cooking!

Charlotte Seddon

Division Manager - Classic Travel

Charlotte joined Nox Rentals in 2007 after a stint in the fabulous and furious world of fashion. That experience steeled her, and she is always an island of calm, even when things get chaotic in the Nox office. After two years in the reservations division she started a new division called Classic-Travel (www.classic-travel.co.za) She is still very much a part of the team and is taking the Tourism industry by storm.

Eva Bauerrichter

Guest Relations and Reservations Manager

Eva had a brief introduction to the Tourism Industry in 2003 whilst completing her studies at UCT in Organizational Psychology. She then followed her passion for the film industry working on set with her dog and training young starlets. She returned into the tourism pool and joined Nox Rentals in April 2009 as a Guest Relations and Reservations Consultant. She is a very enthusiastic part of the team and makes the office a very fun environment. Eva speaks German fluently, making sure all German guests feel at home in Cape Town.

Nastassha Burt

Nastassha is the latest edition to join the Nox team. Previously working as Promotion Manager, she perfectly compliments the Nox rentals family as she is outgoing, friendly and meticulous in her tasks. She spent months traveling after school before taking a course in Events Management. She discovered that she has a passion for all things travel and tourism. She thrives on working with people and enjoys the role of Guest Relations Consultant. Nastassha is an avid netball player, having recently been selected to play for the Western Province B Team. With her welcoming team spirit, Nastassha is a wonderful asset to the Nox Rentals group.

Daniel Caley

Dan joined Nox Rentals in November 2009 to head up the Property Management Division. His adept skills and attention to detail ensures that all of our villas and apartments are keep up to a very high standard and well looked after. His wealth of knowledge and experience in the industry has ensured that we are able to offer an informed, comprehensive Property Management service which has proved invaluable when taking on daily maintenance as well as medium sized refurbishment projects.

Claire Cowley

"Holding the Fort"

Claire is often the last person manning the fort here at Nox. While chaos ensues with all the consultants checking guests in and out, property management working around the clock, Claire will the holding the fort at Nox HQ, and is always available to take calls or to help out with availability.

Alison Hughes

Alison's passion is to create the "magic moment". That is when guests arrive at a property and are blown away. This takes care and attention, and eye for details and some creativity. Full of an enormous amount of energy, Alison puts every last drop into every task that she takes on. With over 20 years experience in marketing and running her own companies, Alison has turned Nox Rentals servicing around completely with her company. In the her free time Alison loves to watch a sunset, scuba dive and has a passion for photography with her camera never far away.

Ian returned from 10 years of working in the UK and Europe to found a company called HomeFixers (www.homefixers.co.za). They specialise in handyman work in and around Cape Town, and provide us with an invaluable service.

Osman Mirambo

Osman joined Nox Rentals after three years of dedicated work with the servicing team. He is efficient and hard working and has a keen eye for perfection. He is responsible for ensuring that the properties are ready for guests arrivals and that they are left in the right state upon guest departures. Osman is a very kind and warm person and is considerate and extremely helpful to guests. He is an asset to the Nox Team. In his spare time he is studying Hotel Management and enjoys spending time with his family.

Jeff Simpson

In House Handyman

Jeff, and ex navy seaman and Western Province Table Tennis Champ, has been with Nox Rentals since 2006. He takes care of all the small bits and pieces required in keeping our portfolio in good condition. He is a friendly giant with a great heart, a right hand man to every member of our team. He is our very own Jack of All Trades.

Mzwandile Booi

Maintenance

Mzwandile (known simply as Booi by all) grew up in a small village called ‘Kentani’ in the picturesque ‘Kabakazi’ region of the Transkei. Here he married his long time girlfriend from the same village and now have four children together. Before arriving in Cape Town in 1999, Booi worked in Gauteng as a gold miner for some years. His gardening roots developed from a young age while working on his father’s subsistence farm. He has since worked in some of Camps Bays prestigious gardens. Mzwandile spends most of his off time with his Vuvuzela supporting Kaizer Chiefs, as he is an avid soccer fan!
