Where do we start? There is an excellent selection of restaurants in Cape Town and not enough time in a week to try them all. Below we have put together a short list of places we would recommend. You can also join our Facebook page to stay updated on restaurants and cafes around the city.

Zenzero

Zenzero is part of the Paranga, The Kove and Pepernero group. These restaurants all offer a speciality so you can enjoy a variety of delicious food, no matter what you feel like.
Zenzero is the "italian" family member, where you can enjoy italian cuisine. Paranga offers succulent steaks and meat dishes, and you can enjoy fresh seafood at The Kove. Pepernero is situated in Mouille Point. We have a accommodation available in this up and coming area.

The Grand Cafe and Beach Cafe

The Grand have two restaurants and Cape Town. One in Camps Bay along the strip, and the Beach Cafe in Granger Bay (5 minutes from the V&A Waterfront).
Both restaurants are classy and elegantly decorated. The food is fabulous but more pricier than other good restaurants in Cape Town. Definitely worth a visit for fine dining with a view.
Wakame

Wakame is situated in Mouille Point. With beautiful views of the ocean, this is a great place for delicious seafood and sushi. Wafu is the trendy bar on the top floor of Wakame, where you can also order food and enjoy the views and relaxed atmosphere.

If you're looking for a quick lunch spot, or a stylishly decorated dinner venue, check out What's On Eatery in town. Whatsoneatery is situated just off Bree street, in the city. This area offers a variety of restaurants for lunches to attract the business crowds. You'll become friends with the owner, Trevor after one meal. Tell him we say hi.

Royale Eatery, or Cafe Royale, is a very popular restaurant in Long Street, Cape Town. They are infamous for their delicious burgers, sweet potato chips and milkshakes. Expect quirky, off-centred waitrons, and delicous food.
El Burro

El Burro is an authentic Mexican restaurant situated in Greenpoint, overlooking the Cape Town stadium. Don't expect the usual "tex mex" nachos you're used to. The food is wholesome and tasteful and you'll love the variety of tequilas for tasting. The atmosphere is vibrant and energetic, as you'd expect from a Mexican joint.

Hudson's Burger Joint are open in Kloof street (just 10 minutes from Camps Bay in town), and in Greenpoint (close to the Cape Town Stadium). This is a great place if you're looking for a relaxed atmosphere, to have a great burger, watch some sport or have a drink with some friends.

Cafe Caprice is an very popular establishment along the Camps Bay strip. In Summer this place is buzzing with a mix of locals and international visitors. Read more about it in our Nighlife section. The menu doesn't offer a wide selection, but the food is quality. Ask your waitress for the favourites from the menu and enjoy a delicious cocktail while you're there.
Caprice is perfect for breakfast, lunch or an early dinner as you watch the sunset.
Make sure you book a table in season as Caprice is always packed.
