Deep Sea Fishing
Reef Fishing in False Bay, off Cape Point or along the Atlantic seaboard offers a wide species of fish to catch. You can expect to find Kabeljou up to 30 kilograms, Cape Salmon of up to 12 kg and the usual white and red Stumpnose, Roman, Elf, Mackeral, Skates, the occasional white Steenbras, Silverfish, Hottentot, Hake, and Tuna.
The seasons are year-round and the skippers carefully monitor conditions so that they can recommend the best spots to go to and what you can expect of the day.
Prices vary depending on the size of the charter and what kind of fishing you have in mind, but we can say that you can look at least R3,500 for the smallest boat for a full day's fishing.
We have a seasoned fisherman on our Property Management team, so just give us a call and we will arrange for your fishing spot on a boat.
Fly-fishing or Rock Angling
Why not try something completely different and head to the spectacular Cape mountain rivers and streams to fish for Brown and Rainbow Trout.
All fly fishing packages can be tailored to suit your needs, whether it's a one day outing or a five day fishing safari. The type of fishing will depend on your fitness level as to whether you will fish the easily accessible dams or some of the more remote river gorges.
If you are keen on staying out in the mountains for 5 days you can either camp at the river gorges or stay at guest houses in or near the mountains. The safari includes accommodation, off road vehicle, all meals, a field guide and fishing tackle.
Rock Angling is also tailored to your interests and fitness levels. You can either fish along the West or East coasts of Southern Africa.
Tennis and Squash
If you're interested in playing some tennis or squash while you're here, we can arrange this for you. You can either enjoy the fabulous courts in Greenpoint at the Virgin Active gym, Camps Bay High School, or the courts behind The Bay Hotel, in Camps Bay.
Camps Bay also has a Sports Club we can introduce you to. Please contact us here.
